The very long escalator..

Went to Changi Airport today for my project... was seeking for tourist to help complete the survey form for my project... although it was only 10 survey questionaire... it took xiang min and me a total of about 2 hours to complete... haha...cos we were contemplating to who should we ask... "that one? ok ma? but she look fierce" ... " neh neh... tt one... coming down the escalator...but..."

So we met some people who were kinda interesting... one was this lady who wasn't willing to complete the survey...but turned back to give suggestions abt improvements on changi airport... (she said that signs were not enough and such...)

The 2nd was this grp of what me and xiangmin speculate were thai tourist...they initially rejected doing the survey... but a few minutes later, one of them turned back and said "Football?" (pointing to the survey form)... so we were like "????" After he ran through the survey ...he said "no.."(shake heads) and walked away... xiangmin guessed he wanted to write "Keylong" and then walk away... (the recent football tournament incident).. LOL!!

Surprisingly...most of them did not know about the infamous merlion...( i think they should put a minature form of the icon in the airport)

It was fun doing survey in Changi airport... cos you can hear some comments about Singapore...and ponder about it... like when this philipino graduate(in tourism) asked us some qns... regarding geylang...they were interested in how a supposedly "clean and green" place... had some "activities" there... well...i felt so ashamed and awkward at that time...and seriously... he gave us lots of qns that i thought was very very good to think about...even to feedback to our local government... OH! and i got really awkward when he said many taxi driver said we were the no. one airport(when he asked what's so unique abt singapore)...like DUH! We were fallen to the 4th position...But he did agree that singapore was the best airport he've seen so far...*proud*
