My Pappy bought back two fighitng fishes from 7th month auction...pretty fishes..but he bought it bcos he pity that no one auctions for the fishes!!!


Anyway..i really loved the ES2007D activity on wednesday.. We were supposed to construct a structure from straws...look at our creations!! I wish there were more..*FAT HOPE*HAHA

Went for a haircut after school yesterday with pin xuan. Finally i got the haircut i wanted...Concave...like those of hebe..(ok..px say victoria beckam.lol)I was very satisfied with the cut. Especially when people say it suits me *Blush*..

There was this annual record breaking activity in school today. One was folding the most number of cranes and the second being the most number of people eating ice cream together..

Of course when i met lj today, my motive was the ice cream..Wahaha!! But who knows when we put the first spoon into our mouth... WASABI ICE CREAM!!!! YUCKS!!! OMG..thinking of it now makes my stomach churn..Unexpectedly after the whole event.. they were giving out goodie bags as a token..and wow...the goodies inside are fabulous and plenty..ANG WAN MISSED IT...such a pity..=p

First Communication module tutorial..OMG.. DAMN stress... Hai~ wonder if i can survive any longer..

Anyway...my virgin lunch at the renovated DECK canteen with ang wan.. fantastic sea view at the air-conned enclosure...and the Thai food was SEDAP! *thumbs up*

After lunch ..we proceeded to the central library as ang wan wanted to borrow books. On our way..this girl was introducing this record breaking attempt cum charity event..where every crane folded..'a bowl of rice' will be donated to charity...by SONGHE RICE.. such meaningful event...of course we would join in...except...MUAHAHAH!!!

Yup...the 2 i have pointed are the creations of ang wan...haha..it seemed that the japanese exchange students became curious about our handicraft(origami is their originator..i guess) after explaining that they are for charity...the lazy yet quick witted ang wan..asked them to help...HAHAHA!! I almost died laughing...

Anyway..support charity...if i am not wrong..it will be ongoing till thurs..(plus icecream eating)..and tmr U channel will be coming down to host the school bell and bella programme!!EXCITED!!

Happy Chinese Valentine!!

I had such a wondeful time for the past 2 days... and a memorable one.
I had planned a last minute meetup especially since the jc peeps has last met long ago and that it was the fireworks festival. Alas.. only a few can make it.
Met yuelin after my friday lessons..since we were so keen on factory donuts..we queued for 2 hours plus and finally got our pipping hot feast. Many people questioned abt the attractiveness of this ring-shaped dough. But, it needs some tasting to know why. Seriously w/o YL, i wouldn't have known zhuo xiu(a donut fan too!) and even meetup for fireworks tt day. After dinner in raffles city..we proceed to esplanade to glimpse the fireworks display at 8plus. We didn't get a good spot that day and could only catch 50% of the full view. (ang wan was so lucky to have the tix and she didn't go!!!!AGAIN!). Went brewerks after that..for a purpose *ZIP*

On saturday, i was napping(cos law notes were a lil' too boring =p)when my phone rang in the evening.. i was so so touched can? yuelin and zhuo xiu have been contacting me to catch another round of fireworks(cos the radio promised a much better one- by zx). This time was only the 3 of us. I was lucky enough to catch familiar faces there. HAHA. After buying some snacks, we decided on a better spot since yesterday's lesson. But we are a lil' too late and had to get a view from the other side of the bridge. The fireworks were indeed breathtaking...esp the finale. Afterwhich, we went to JUMBO seafood restaurant for supper. We were intially hesitant abt the price. Who knows when the bill came..it was ard $18 each person..."ZHI DE!" and the chili crab is simply 'Finger lickin good' ...*what is kfc?*

We were praying so hard tt a sbs bus would not stop there..

First day of school today... and i must say...we totally felt like we were some freshies.. lost to how we could get to LT20. And to think we have to fight on board 95 again.. *tsk tsk*

Anyway.. the lecturer to lsm was absolutely humourous..well..we were supposed to learn abt immunology...and he went to ask personal qns like : "how many folds of toilet paper do you use" and " do you us water or toilet paper after you finish your business" Well..couldn't stop laughing...

But i am still bewildered about him asking me this qn " name me one bacteria" ...well i wanted to say E.coli.. but i thought he wanted a different answer ma.. and he got all so agitated.. *blah..*

Lunch time was worse..the girlies(=ang wan, hy and me) wanted to explore the new FASS canteen..and in the end..a walk round FASS...plus a trip to Techno...eventually..we settled our lunch there(techno)..no time for Vivo trip..XD

Toodles..*** no lessons tmr..and will be slacking home..

Thanks to my lil' bro...we managed to get ourselves 'free' photoshoot...I shall not name the place first until they promise to give us the correct set of photos...(explain later)..

Went down town at 3 pm for this photoshoot..we waited quite awhile b4 being directed for makeup and then the photoshoot... now i understand why models complained that they are tired...it was loads of fun in the studio...we had a second round of photoshoot wearing chinese traditional costumes.. but at the end...we all agreed that the first photoshoot captured fantastic pictures..

At the end as we expected...to have the whole album that we took...we have to join their member...and gosh it cost loads...anyway..they promised to give us a soft copy of 2 chosen photoshoot..but when i reach home... *GOSH* it contained one picture of dunno who... duh... well..don't make me plan a boycott..

Dessert was fantastic...had fondue in haggen dazz...and it was fabulous.. =)

Cool! You know what?! NUS will be opening a burger king outlet when school reopens...so looking forward!! FRIES!!(hope the news is accurate)

I am so excited in the new semester..cos i will be meeting my secondary school buddies too!! WHEE!!

Saturday: Went in to malaysia and first thing was to check in to Hyatt where my cousin is holding his wedding dinner..a pity i didn't bring along my handphone...cos there was still reception from starhub..(according to my brother)Oh well...have to wait for the pictures now..Lunch in a seafood restaurant and shopping in jusco..a pity it was a little too rush...and i didn't bring my own money..there were MNG sales there too! Dinner to celebrate my nephew's 2yr bdae...and he got his fav boat imprinted on his cake..(BTW..the cake is from secret recipe..and malaysia has many franchise there)

Sunday: Preparation early in the morning to follow my cousins to fetch the bride.. i must say this is the most memorable ceremony..we were negotiating with the bridesmaid on the Hongbao money.. I think 188 ringgit? Once my cousin slots in the money...the door swung open.. All of us were stunned at the moment..cos we were expecting a tough time..a few seconds later..we finally regained composure..it was really funny..
Tea ceremony followed after we made a u-turn back to the brides home (to symbolise 3 days have passed)..Soon we left for the hotel..for another round of tea ceremony
Lunch reception in the afternoon...the banquet hall was fabulously decorated..CLASSY!
My 2 yr old nephew then went on stage to congratulate his uncle on his wedding..damn cute..
Late afternoon..we went to city square for more shopping..WOW!! Many of my favourite shops are there!! SKin Food..MNG..many more..i finally bought this mng skinnies..for 20+ only! *Satisfied*

Sentosa Gathering

Yea..i am pretty tired and tortured by the sun.. finally the day when the NUS peeps gathered the 2nd time in Sentosa...except it was far more disappointing.. 3 pretty babes were left standing alone in sentosa island..no group photos...and lots of waiting..*AHEM*(don't worry..i won't say is Cindy)

9a.m. waiting for the 2 macho guys who are little late..went for macdonalds breakfast while waiting for the girl who have needles in her throat and the guy who went medical checkup(Kevin). Shopped for frisbee in toys-r-us and we really had a great time there...esp the 2 dragonboatees..duh..call me childish when they themselves played with the spiderman plush..

The plush toy which sings "spider man...spider man..." and "incy wincy spider.."

11plus? : Finally...waiting was too much to bear and we headed to the beach..Took the monorail(or whateva u call it)to the beach stn and decided to reside in Palawan beach(our 1st hideout)...it was pretty crowded in our hotspot cos there was orientation camp going on.. Our usual frisbee game and swim...
Thank god it didn't rain today..

Woh.. i am appalled myself that i have not blogged for quite sometime..
A quick recap then..

Last week 20/7/2007:
Wan xuan's last day in MOE.. brought her to my favorite hangout in Holland Village.. after that when we returned.. we guessed there was an accident or sort in the mrt station cos there were many smrt shuttle bus..and truely.. a woman was hit by a train..
In the evening..i took a train down to meet ang wan for a short shopping trip b4 going down to celebrate my cousin's birthday.. haha..TM metro closing down sale..and with 2 shopaholics around..there is no way we bag nothing home..successful trip..things for the sentosa outing..WHEE-WOO!
Rushed like mad to my cousin's house..wolfed down some food..and the rest of the day is willingly robbed away by my nephew..(see his pict and u will know y)

21/7/2007 to onwards: yes..i forgot what the activity was..sorry.. i am suffering from early senile dementia..

1/8/07: My last day at work! WHEE HEE!! And how happy can i get..it was almost like christmas...my colleagues treat me to my fav thai and western food.. and pressies during my last day of work...i simply love them...feeling so blessed.. and guess what.. i saw my former vice principal when i walked down the escalator... as i was too excited to remember her name.. i decided to ignore her...*guilty guilty*

Wrapping up my worklife this break..
In the morning..just b4 i step into the office...it will be like an olympic stadium...and bus stop would be so crowded..like those in india(no offence)..

The office would then smell like starbucks in the morning..cos my colleagues are fans of coffee...

lunch would smell like foodcourt...

and late evening would be dessert time..(cos my colleagues will be giving out sweets)

Really miss my colleagues there...especially the buffet they provide during celebrations..haha..of cos i dun miss my record for being sick 3 times in just one month there..

2/8/07: Finally...my FTT..I PASSED!!! WHEE!! I almost fainted when i saw the holy word..imagine if i have to take FTT 3 times...
Coincidentally..i saw CHEN WEI FEN!haha..and great..she is going to be my junior...*evil grinz* torture me today la!
