aspire to learn canton

YUp! Other than Hokkien...my nxt targetted language tt i must master... cantonese...
Well...it all happened yesterday when i was waiting the train in outram to school...
i was kinda blur cos i just woke up from the mrt journey... then this canton speaking ah ma approached me... she was speaking in canton...which i am totally noob in... so she took out a piece of paper which wrote "raffles place" ...so i guessed she wanted to go there... instead of pointing towards pasir ris..i pointed to the one towards sch... then she was on top of her voice ...i seriously can't make out what she was saying...luckily someone volunteered to help...and i advanced to the back of the stn.. while waiting...i suddenly remembered tt raffles place shld be in the other direction... but anyway...since someone directed her...might as well.. THEN! i hrd the ah ma at the top of her voice again..DARN! she must be scolding me ...maybe something like "stupid girl...anyhow direct me to the wrong direction...think i stupid issit?" anyway... its so the embarrasing... so many pple were there at the time... shucks man... nxt time i will just siam...unless he/she speaks in hokkien or chi or eng..AND! i am awake
