The boat trip to ubin was a whooping 2 dollars to and fro each...then after asking the uncle if we could step on the platform of the boat...we went to take some wonderful picts... it was FUN!

Anyway...we went negotiating ard all the stalls about the price for renting bikes...and finally got the decision of the first stall... we got poncho's as well...well..got to protect erik's present...but then...his pressie still got a little wet...=p we tried to find our way to climb the highest peak there which was 60m high? forgot...but we got lost and came to the end part of ubin.... saw some shy doggies there... xiao black , xiao yellow , and xiao yue...who was apparently patrolling the beach itself... 
Yea...feeding them ham bread which shuling offered... w/o this weapon..they wouldn't have came this close...see... i so lang bei(pathetic) ...all drenched...
we took some pictures there...and one wif the tractor...but i will try to upload them when i receive it...
Rain was geting heavier and we seek shelter at a toilet near a country club before finding our way back to the peak...took some candid picts of yuelin... ren cui and her friend...
while we are at the 2nd shelter...(very near to the peak) ...there is this pool of muddy water...which i accidentally slipped... fell on my knee...and gosh does it hurt...suffered some scratches.. at the shelter... rencui...yuelin...yaole...and RC's friend...who were all so adventurous... took a video of themselves jumping across the pool of muddy water which i slipped on into the shelter...GOSH LAR!! so dangerous... luckily non fell down...
my scratched kneeLater ... we set off to the peak when the rain was lighter..there are 2 paths to the peak..one non accessible and the other was the right one...we parked our bikes on the 2nd path and went up... on our way...we saw this pool of water...u can literally swim in it... about knee deep and is 2 to 3 m long... so we were wondering if its the correct path...w/o lighters...its dangerous if leeches were hiding in the pool...god damn..u hv to go to experience it... so we decided not to risk first and we took the other path...but it lead nowhere... so we went back to the other path... formed a human chain... and finally got across... DAMN SCARY!!! luckily..this was the correct path as it leads us to the peak where we can see a good view of the quarry...WOW!!!! NICE !!!! NICE I TELL U!!! U hv to see it urself...

Oh ya... i didn't mention how lucky i was... and who says its good to be tall... i knocked my head on this half-fallen trunk and god... the "konngg" sound was so ...like hitting a goong...yes..there is echo...the trip back down wasn't as easy... slippery and steep...i so wish that a helicopter could fetch us back down... and the worse is when we hv to cross back the muddy pool.... Oh...and hell to those vandalisers who drew things on the rock.. smack you man...
we cycled to other parts of ubin as there was still much time... was unlucky again... i stopped to wait for the rest...who knows... a twig from up high in the tree top suddenly snapped and landed on my head... its as if santa claus gave you this early christmas present made of rocks... GOD IT WAS PAINFUL!!! ARGH!!!
but got lucky later when i saw this gorgeous eagle..YES!! EAGLE!!! brown body and white head!!! GORGEOUS!!! but b4 i could take a shot..it flew away...
At one of the stops...we stopped our bikes at the roadside and climbed over the barrier to near the freshwater swamp... Saw many cute mudskippers... oh ya...and the crab which our teacher mentioned in the S'pore studies module... the fiddeler crab(i.e.males have one claw which is larger than the other) After finding no more flat stones to make ripples...(i attempted and failed) we left the place...
the fiddler crabreturned our bikes(which had so much problems ) soon after....washed up a little and left this gorgeous place.... saw this uncle at the jetty...apparently bitten by some unknown sea creatures... while waiting for the police speed boat to ferry him back to s'pore...these few hokkien speaking uncles were adding to his fear.... their conversation which i translate to english The bumbboat uncle:"aiyo....wad happen?
the uncle who was hurt:" got bitten by some sea creatures"
BB uncle:" is sting ray or not"
Hurt uncle:" i think not"
BB uncle:" aiyo...get bitten by stingray is no small matter leh! veri pain one u noe... somemore they very poisonous"
ok...so the BB=bumbboat uncles were regurgitating how poisonous the stingray was and adding fear to this uncle... WAH LAO!! ZIP!
On our boat trip back... there is this uncle who was very @#$% he dun allow us to stand at the platform of the boat... he say only can stand 2 at the time... the diao thing is...he stand there for the whole journey la...how to expect us to stand there?
me and shulingAnyway...wanted to get some bite at changi village...was queuing for the famous nasi lemak when Ang wan say she reached chalet le... so i aborted the queue wif my hungry stomach and dragged my half-dead body to the chalet... tt ang wan...say meet at bus stop..in the end she went in first herself w/o telling me... i tot i went wrong chalet...
erik's chalet was big! double storey... many toilets... made 2 friends... 1-a teacher 2- a hardcore singer who plans to find me and ang to build him a four sided stage.... anyway..saw erik's nephew...so cute.!!! pick up anything he finds...and he keep playing wif the cushion of the chair...GOSH!! i also want a 21st bdae party in a chalet and invite many friends...and also have a big bdae cake... well a sad thing that we left early... anyway...thanks erik for inviting us...
